On June 19, Bill Payer will be updated to include the following enhancements and functionality:
Smart Reminders are automated, emailed payment reminders. Bill Payer has identified that you have made payments on a regular basis to eligible billers and will send you a reminder for future payments.

After June 19, when you select a payee, the payee row will expand to display the payment type. The available payment types are check or electronic. If the biller accepts electronic payments, your payment will be processed 1-2 business days faster than check payments. Knowing how your payment will be processed can help you determine when to schedule your bill payments.
This new feature will let you to create custom groups of payees, allowing you to more easily manage your bills. For example, if you make payments to the same group of payees each pay period, a group with just those payees may be created.
After the update, it will be easier than ever to manage and confirm your payee categories. The “Add Category” option will be moved to the bottom of the page, and you can select it by clicking the link. The “Continue” button will be replaced with a “Save changes” button and a “Confirmation” message will display after you select to save your changes.
