As part of the coronavirus rescue package, many New Mexicans will soon receive an Economic Impact Payment (stimulus check) from the U.S. Treasury.

If you recently received a paper stimulus check, by mail, here are your options for depositing or cashing it at Nusenda Credit Union.


Deposit Options

Mobile Deposits — Save time and skip the lines at the drive-up by simply using your smartphone or computer scanner to take an image of your check and deposit it into your Nusenda Credit Union account. Learn more about Mobile Deposits. See below for endorsement instructions.


Drive-up — Visit any drive-up location to deposit your check. See below for endorsement instructions.


ATM — ATMs are available for deposit 24-hours a day at any CU Anytime ATM. Please see below for endorsement instructions.


Night Drop — Night drop lets you drop your deposits in a secure box outside many of our branches during or after business hours. Night drop deposit is available at the following locations:

  • Juan Tabo

  • Montgomery
  • North Valley
  • Paseo Del Norte
  • South Valley
  • St. Michaels
  • Taos
  • University
  • Unser
  • Uptown
