Grand opening celebration scheduled for Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Nusenda Credit Union has opened its 20th branch in New Mexico and its first branch on Albuquerque’s Southeast side. It is located at 401 Eubank Blvd. SE, Building 2, Suite G, just south of Central Avenue.
Nusenda will hold a grand opening on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. The celebration is open to both members and the general public. Attendees can look forward to coffee and donuts from fellow locally owned businesses Grinding Gears Coffee and Rebel Donut, no-cost selfies with Santa, Nusenda-themed giveaways, and $50 gift card drawings every 30 minutes.
In partnership with KOAT-TV Channel 7, attendees can also drop off children’s new or gently used coats, or monetary donations, as part of the station’s KOATS for Kids Winter Coat drive. Also, COYOTE 102.5 FM (KIOT) will hold a remote broadcast on site.
“The location for this new branch will be a great addition to Albuquerque’s Southeast Heights,” said Terry Laudick, President/CEO of Nusenda Credit Union. “It will allow our members in that part of town and the East Mountains, as well as those who work at Sandia National Laboratories and Kirtland Air Force Base, to conveniently manage their finances and get direct, in-person guidance on how to achieve their financial goals.”
