Helpful Tips for Credit Cardholders 

Nusenda Credit Union contactless Visa® credit cards

 

Here are a few easy steps to begin using all of the helpful services available with your contactless credit card. Please select the services you use below for additional details: 

Credit Card Payment Address  >

Our credit card payment address has changed. Please mail card payments to the new address:

If you use a bill pay service through another financial institution, you will need to update the payment address with your bill pay service provider.  

Adding Travel Notes to My Credit Card  >


We recommend you place travel notes on your card to help prevent it from being blocked when traveling out of the state or country. 

Adding travel notes to your credit card is simple:

  1. Log into Mobile or Internet Banking. Your credit card will display in My Accounts. 
  2. Select your credit card to access your account details, then select Manage Credit Card.
  3. Hover over Account Services on the menu, then select Travel Center from the drop-down menu.
  4. Enter the CVV three digit number located on the back of your card and click Continue. 
  5. Provide the requested information and Submit.

Establish Credit Card Alerts >

Now is the perfect time to establish alerts offered through SmartControls™. 

  1. Log into Mobile or Internet Banking. Your credit card will display in My Accounts. 
  2. Select your credit card to access your account details, then select the Manage Credit Card link.
  3. Hover over Account Services on the menu, then select SmartControls from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click the Create Profile button. Review the Terms & Conditions and click the Accept button if you agree and wish to use the service. 
  5. Enter a Profile Name then click Save and Continue. 
  6. Provide an email address or phone number in Contact Information. You will receive a text message or email. You will need to respond to verify your enrollment. 
  7. Enable the Alerts you prefer under Controls by clicking the option so it displays as On, entering the required information. 

Enable the credit card lock service under Controls by clicking the option so it displays as On and then click the Save Profile button.

Now, you can lock your credit card to reduce the chances of unauthorized transactions to your account. 

  1. Log into Mobile or Internet Banking. Your credit card will display in My Accounts. 
  2. Select your credit card to access your account details, then select the Manage Credit Card link.
  3. Hover over Account Services on the menu, then select SmartControls™ from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click the Create Profile button. Review the Terms & Conditions and click the Accept button if you agree and wish to use the service. 
  5. Enter a Profile Name then click Save and Continue. 
  6. Provide an email address or phone number in Contact Information. You will receive a text message or email. You will need to respond to verify your enrollment. 
  7. Enable the credit card lock service under Controls by clicking the option Card Stop option to display On and then click the Save Profile button. 

You can easily unlock it the same way. No more hassles having to cancel your card, change your account number, or reset automatic payments. Your scheduled transactions will go through as normal. 

Enroll in Mobile Pay >

Enrolling in Mobile Pay service is easy. Simply select the relevant service below and follow the steps.  

Apple Pay

  1. Go to Settings> Wallet & Apple Pay. 
  2. Tap your Nusenda credit card.
  3. Tap the button with (dots)
  4. Scroll to the bottom and select “Remove” card.
Or open Wallet, tap your Nusenda credit card, tap the three horizontal dots icon, then tap remove card.


Google Pay

  1. Open the Google Pay app.
  2. At the bottom, tap Payment.
  3. Tap your Nusenda credit card.
  4. To delete the card, in the top right tap More and then Remove payment method.

Samsung Pay  

  1. Open Samsung Pay on your phone. Touch Wallet, touch the CREDIT/DEBIT tab, and then tap your Nusenda credit card.
  2. The following options are available under More Options:
  3. Add or remove the card from Favorite Cards. You can also delete the card.
