As part of its mission to provide the convenience, technology, and accessibility of today and tomorrow to its 200,000-plus members statewide, Nusenda Credit Union is celebrating the relocation of its Socorro
branch to 1019 N. California St., next to the Family Dollar.
Nusenda will hold a grand opening celebration on Friday, March 22 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. that is open to both members and the general public. Attendees can look forward to music provided by NASH FM 92.3 KRST, refreshments, and giveaways ranging
from gift cards from area businesses to Nusenda-themed goodies. A grand prize drawing will be held for two tickets to any New Mexico Tech Performing Arts Series show.
The new branch features updated technology, a more open floor plan, three new offices where members can meet one-on-one with financial consultants, easy access parking, and a drive-up ATM. Hours of operation will stay the same –
Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“Thanks to the town of Socorro and surrounding communities, there was a need to grow our space,” said Terry Laudick, CEO of Nusenda Credit Union. “We’re excited to provide the latest products and services that will allow our members to manage their finances conveniently, and get direct, in-person guidance on how to achieve their goals.”
In the spirit of its give-back philosophy, Nusenda also participates in making its communities better places to live, work, and play. Through its Community Rewards program,
Nusenda members have given back to area organizations such as New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and the school’s Performing Arts Series, Socorro Consolidated Schools, American Association of University Women’s Tech Trek New
Mexico, Magdalena Municipal Schools, and the Socorro County Senior Center.
