Nusenda Credit Union is hosting a grand opening event for its newest Santa Fe location on Saturday, July 23, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 502 N. Guadalupe Street at DeVargas Center. After opening its first Santa Fe branch more than 14 years ago, Nusenda now serves more than 11,000 members in the area.
Nusenda employees and leaders of the Credit Union will celebrate the grand opening and ribbon-cutting with community partners and other honored guests. Those in attendance can meet the branch team, enjoy food and drinks, listen to music from local artist Cali Shaw, and participate in drawings for tickets for Little Big Town, the Ultimate Zozobra Experience, and more.
“Our team looks forward to a great morning with the Santa Fe community and local leaders,” said Nusenda President/CEO Joe Christian. “Members and non-members alike are welcome to join us for this day of fun.”
With many long-standing collaborative relationships in Santa Fe, the new branch at DeVargas Center is part of the Nusenda’s work to strengthen the community and foster positive change. The new team will offer an expansion of trusted, friendly advice, flexible products and services, and additional community investment.
Nusenda is underway with construction on a third Santa Fe location. The Southside branch, set to open later this year, will be located at 5621 Herrera Drive near the Walmart Supercenter and the Christus St. Vincent Entrada Contenta Urgent Care.
