November 16, 2022 - Nusenda Foundation recently announced its 2022 Community Rewards grant recipients. The Foundation awarded 104 recipients a total of $630,000 in funds for programs that are creating positive change and producing economic opportunities across New Mexico.
The funding of this annual grant program is made possible through the financial partnership between Nusenda Credit Union and its members. When members make ten or more signature-based transactions with their Nusenda Visa® debit cards each month, they earn cash back and support Community Rewards grants. Members designate their support geographically and to one of five areas: education, healthcare, environment and wildlife, the arts, and community service. Grants go to local organizations and nonprofits to strengthen and support New Mexico’s communities.
