Located just North of Albuquerque, Bernalillo Public Schools' (BPS) vision is to inspire, create, and develop learning experiences where language, heritage, and core values are supported. BPS provides opportunities for students, families, and staff to come together and celebrate successes in creative ways. The district has instituted a reading program that provides books for students, and as levels of the program are achieved, the student receives a reward. BPS also recognizes the exemplary work of teachers with awards such as Teacher of The Month, and an annual banquet to honor the Teacher of The Year.
