Established in 1865, Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe was the first organized healthcare facility in the New Mexico territory. The 200-bed hospital, one of only three trauma centers statewide, currently serves a seven-county area with population of almost 300,000 New Mexicans. Along with medical treatment, the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation helps to provide support items and medical equipment, case management for those with ongoing behavioral health and addiction issues, real-world learning for high school students, and bike helmets for hundreds of northern New Mexico’s kids.
