Nusenda Credit Union is rooted in education.
Our credit union was founded by educators in 1936 at Albuquerque High School. To honor our history and make a positive impact in communities today, we continue our work with local partners, ensuring that educators are supported, and students get the help they need to succeed.
The Nusenda Foundation serves as the heart of Nusenda, representing our values, objectives, and well-being initiatives across New Mexico and West Texas. Our signature program, Community Rewards, gives members the opportunity to support organizations and community initiatives important to them.
In 2018, the Nusenda Foundation created the impactful Financial Education Innovation Award (FEIA), established to recognize and reward educators, organizations, and students who enact innovative approaches to enhance financial literacy and well-being.
