Fraudulent Texts Regarding ATM and Debit Cards

We have received reports that text messages are being sent to some individuals claiming to be from CU Anytime Fraud Services. The texts include the last 4 digits of the member’s card number, as well as several transactions that are not valid. The text message asks recipients to call 877-273-5740. This is not a CU Anytime or Nusenda Credit Union phone number. Please do not provide any personal or account information.

 We have received reports that text messages are being sent to some individuals claiming to be from CU Anytime Fraud Services. The texts include the last 4 digits of the member’s card number, as well as several transactions that are not valid. The text message asks recipients to call 877-273-5740. When this number is called there is a recorded message that says, “Welcome to the Fraud Detection Message Center,” and then tries to match the phone number to a sent text message. No company names are mentioned in the recording. This is not a CU Anytime or Nusenda Credit Union phone number. Please do not provide any personal or account information.

CU Anytime and Nusenda will NEVER contact members for account numbers, credit card numbers, CVV number, PIN numbers, or any other private information.
